1.5.2017
Throughout 2016 I continued making and reaching goals and I plan on continuing that theme during 2017. I am aware that we are five days into the new year now but I decided I wanted to write down some of my goals so that later I can go and check them off or see if they are even important to me anymore. So, for the fifth day of the new year, here are five of my goals:
1. Spiritual Goals
I hope to grow closer to my Heavenly Father, to teach my sisters more about His love, to show others His love through the way I act. I am always working on the strength of my relationship with God, and I plan on continuing my prayers and dedicated study of His word. I was also inspired recently to take up the Old Testament and read it completely.
2. Reading Goals
This is one of my bigger goals this year (although honestly all of them are big) as I want to read EVERY single book on my shelves that I have never read before and all the ones that I haven't read in quite a while. Besides that, I hope to be finishing a few series I started in 2016 and reading whatever I have available.
3. Education Goals
I have signed up for multiple classes at my local community college again for this Spring semester as well as the one French class at a local college. Of course, I plan on working hard throughout the semester and getting good grades, I plan on doing a lot of math because that is one of my weaknesses and I want to turn it into a strength. Also, looking and applying to colleges (maybe abroad?)
4. Travel Goals
If you know me you know that my plan this year is to travel to Europe and Au Pair for at least six months (more if I fall in love with the job.) I always dream of traveling all over the United States every year so I will add that here. I have many more places that I would love to travel to and if I somehow managed to travel to all of them this year that would be absolutely amazing.
5. Physical Goals
This is another one of those things where I have been doing this for some time and I plan on pushing myself further and working harder. I hope I get stronger and that I use my abilities in the air to praise God and show everyone His grace.
And now I leave you with another photo from my backyard with some greenery covered in snow.
Have a wonderful NEW YEAR.

Yay! You're reading through the Old Testament!
ReplyDeleteIt just started snowing here for the first time this winter. :)
