Book Recommendation

Here are some books I've read recently and I think you should read.

#1 The Kiss of Deception
and
The Heart of Betrayal
by Mary E. Pearson
 and
here                               here

These books oh goodness! If you like reading books about princesses and princes and assassins and spies and all sorts of good things then this is the book for you! These books are so good and you definitely won't be able to put them down. I can't wait for the next book in the chronicles because the cliff hangers are great big cliff hangers.
both books have different point of views throughout the books and it really widens the story and makes you understand and appreciate each character differently. I don't want to accidentally spoil anything so my summaries are gonna be a little vague.
The Kiss of Deception is about a princess who runs away on her wedding day and all sorts of things happen.  (told you. vague.) The Heart of Betrayal follows our princess and two others after some things happen in the first book. The princess is in enemy territory and has to find a way to find the prince and leave.
Character I didn't like: The ruler of the enemy territory he made me angry.

#2 Throne of Glass
Crown of Midnight
Heir of Fire
Queen of Shadows
by Sarah J. Maas

Throne of Glass is about another assassin and a prince because I've really been liking that genre. I enjoyed this book series for many reasons, mainly because they were awesome. Ready for the vague summary so I don't spoil things?
In the book Throne of Glass there is a girl who is in prison because she has killed a lot of people because she is an assassin. The prince comes and gives her a chance that would mean freedom. This chance is a competition to be the Kings royal assassin. Lots happens so you should pick up this book as soon as possible.
The rest of the books follow the things that happen after the first book (duh) and they are AMAZING.  Character I didn't like: Lady Kaltain because that girls got a bad attitude.

#3 Tyger Tyger
by Kersten Hamilton

this is an Irish legend and myths kinda book and it has goblins and sìdhes and un-earthly beings and it's just really good.
There was a goblin that thought that he was the 'Goblin God' but that's just what he thinks because he thinks he's better than everybody else. Character I didn't agree with: Abby, I thought she could have been a whole lot more but she didn't do a whole lot.

#4 The Maze Runner series
The Scorch Trials
by James Dashner

I recently read the second book which is The Scorch Trials and man did it get intense! When I first started reading this book I honestly thought it was going to get all ooey goey with Thomas and Teresa and I wasn't excited, I want action.Well James Dashner delivered me action. Oh goodness. I don't want to give much away but this book is not just the ooey goey love story about Teresa and Thomas falling even deeper in love and all that while they still have to figure out a bunch of stuff. Don't get me wrong I don't mind reading romance but I have this gut feeling that Thomas and Teresa are related. Character I didn't like: A new character named Brenda, the way she acted like she was the boss bothered me.

I still think you should read every single one of these. Enjoy!

May your shelves be ever filled with books, xoxo ~Bethany
